DCW member Anita Howitt entered the NYC Midnight Short Story Challenge in January 2022. In round #1 of this competition, writers were placed in groups and assigned a genre, subject, and character. Participants had eight days to write an original story no longer than 2,500 words. The judges selected the top five from each group to advance to round #2.
Anita placed third in her group and will receive her round #2 assignment tonight! This time, she'll have three days to write a story no longer than 2,000 words. Please join us in congratulating Anita on her success thus far and wishing her the best of luck!
